WORKSHOPS

Learning to See Space — Architecture & Human Scale

This workshop is about learning how to see space before photographing it.

Rather than chasing locations or camera settings, we’ll focus on how distance, scale, and human presence change the meaning of architecture — and how small positioning decisions can transform ordinary buildings into strong, intentional images.

We’ll work slowly, observing how architecture interacts with people, light, and movement, and how stepping closer or stepping back alters structure, depth, and repetition.

This is not a photo walk where you shoot everything. It’s a guided session on how to choose what is worth photographing — and why.

What We’ll Focus On:

• Seeing architecture beyond function and landmarks
• Using human scale to define space and depth
• How distance and perspective affect structure
• When to include people — and when to exclude them
• Slowing down and making deliberate framing decisions
• Photographing with intention, not reaction

The emphasis is on observation and decision-making,
not post-processing or gear.

Who This Workshop Is For?

• Photographers who want to improve composition and visual thinking
• Anyone interested in architecture, urban space, and human presence
• Beginners who want strong foundations
• Photographers looking to refine how they see
